You can't do anything without a car, so that makes going out a hassle. My biggest gripes would be having no town center. Teens don't have a lot of places to go after night events (school dances and performances), so we go to restaurants that are still open. It depends where in vernon hills you are, but for me, I can only walk to two parks and maybe a supermarket.
